No trick or treaters here but I bought two bags of chocolates while I was at Grammy's this week - to replace the two bags we ate. I'm sure begger's night Grand Daddy will be rushing out to pick up a few more bags.

Mom use to hide the Halloween candy from Dad. The only year she succeeded in keeping him out of it, Dad ransacked the house from basement to attic, emptied the closets (finding Christmas gifts in the process) before tearing apart the cars. Still no candy. So he threw a hissy fit yelling that he KNEW she had bought candy and where is it?

It was in the fridge, in plain sight. It had been there a week or more. She knew he was spending so much effort trying to think of her dibolical hiding spot, it would never register if she put it some where mundane.
