I've only tried bananas so far and have had excellent results. I anticipate they'll be great for other fruits and veggies. I am looking forward to trying them on summer garden tomatos I get. I get them at the very ripe stage (sometimes cracked on the shoulders) from neighbors and can't eat them fast enough. The bags will almost stop their ripening (the bags trap the gasses that veggies/fruits give off that cause them to ripen so fast). I am also looking forward to trying them with strawberries as Elizabeth mentioned... They go bad so fast for me normally.

You can use the bags in the fridge or on the counter. Wherever you normally put the fruit/veggie you are green bagging.

I have only seen them advertised on TV or online, however, someone mentioned last night looking for something at JC Penneys as they have an "As Seen On TV" section at our store. They may be there...

Amazon.com, QVC, and informercials are where I've seen them...
