I've had them in my kitchen ceiling fixture for about 3 years, but just recently in other lower fixtures. Haven't had a chance to back out yet, and I'm too lazy to climb up to check out the kitchen fixture. I'll keep an eye on the lower ones. Sounds like it might be with older fixtures in your case?
