We have a recycle bin that's picked up the same day as our garbage (but different truck)so it's really easy. Most people in my neighborhood use it but I don't know about other parts of the city. Surely they do since don't even have to separate it in the bin and it's just an open big plastic box to carry down! They'll take glass, cans, plastic 1-7 (until recently was only 1 and 2), newspapers (nothing glossy). A school nearby has a place where you can toss in magazines,catalogs and glossy ads for recycle so that takes care of those. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anyone handling cardboard. However, most small towns don't have recycle.
