Thanks for the tips, Barb and I have tried TJMaxx and Kohl's and all the chains in this area. She's been looking about a year and complaining, I have been looking about 6-8 months and complaining. We both wear about the same size and style, so if either of us finds any, we're going to send up flares. We just had a gripe session on the phone a couple days ago and I thought I'd see if you guys had any luck.

We'd also had a conversation about the new stretch jeans all having low cut fronts, as Elizabeth mentioned. Don't need middle-aged tummys hanging out like the teens do...

No cowboys in Maryland, great tip, tho. Will check the stores when I am in Texas as they may have kept jeans traditional as well as stretch for women.

I agree about lengths changing thru the years. Tried on a pair of petite length dress slacks the other day that I was able to pull up to my sternum (seriously) and still were a little long on the bottom. Could have worn these as a body suit. Hoping it was just a flaw in this manufacturer's measuring, LOL...

I've also been looking for a pair of black jeans, all jeans seem to be coming in stretch, blue, black, white...
