The fanciest toys and cat products don't always work. Seems like the cats don't read the catalogs. LOL. What does work are milk carton rings for Star and pieces of crumpled paper for Quentin. Also pens that the cats can roll across the floor.

I hear you loud and clear. I bought fancy toys for the boys in the early years and haven't really bought anything for years. Paper sacks, cardboard boxes, milk rings, etc., are standard toys around here.
I saw the "cat box" and decided to step out for once and get it because it was the box he loved, but would be snuggly inside this winter.
Nope. I am pretty sure he won't warm up. I am going to give it to a friend that has a multi-cat household (lives on a farm). Surely one of her 18 cats will like it, LOL.
Pookey stands in front of it with his head shoved in the entrance and meows loudly and then walks away... I am sure if I put an identical cheap cardboard box right beside it, he'd get right in the cardboard one. ----- Tammy and Pookey
