They can splinter and cut into the cat's mouth and stomach. Cats are carnivores and can eat RAW bones as long as that are small. Remember, cats eat bird bones RAW and that birds that FLY (not chickens) have hollow, lightweight bones. Chickens have very heavy bones in comparison to the bones in flying smaller birds.
