Ruby -- Your remodeling sounds awesome! How lucky Josh is so skilled at renovations! I am so tickled for you!

We are expecting round two this afternoon to tomorrow afternoon here in Maryland/east coast. Supposed to dump a foot of snow in about 24 hours.

Off yesterday and today -- they can't figure out where to put the snow from parking lots and smaller roads in many locations, delaying offices, schools, etc., from opening. Good chance we'll be off tomorrow, again. (I'll be putting in a good bit of unpaid overtime when I finally get in, but am enjoying the down time).

I heard on the news about a week ago Des Moines was close to breaking a record -- something like the most days with 2' or more snow on the ground. Is that right? Did you guys break the record?

We had 29" in my area per the newspaper when all was said and done Saturday night. Another foot will make it special, esp. now when they are just pretty much finished clearing areas out.

I don't feel like heading to the store with half the region today to get the milk I never got last weekend. I am sure they are all running back out to get more toilet paper, milk, eggs, and bread.
