I've worn bifocals for several years and spend about $200-250 for the lenses. Frames can cost anywhere from $99 to $200 depending on the style and make.
I get an employee discount, which does help. Maybe the price depends on where you go or what part of the country you're in. I'm not sure how they figure it.
