He came home Thursday and is doing well considering the vet had to re-place part of the tibia and he has pins in the bone so it can heal correctly. He is not particularly happy with the cage rest but for now he is not pushing the issue to get out. The vet said he was a tough cat since he started standing on the leg a little bit the next day after surgery. We took him to the UT Small Animal Hospital Clinic since that is the "to-go-to" place in TN for small pets. The vets were great and his 4th year resident spoiled him by sitting with him beside his cage because she felt so sorry for him. So you can guess what I have to do now just to give him some reassurance, etc - sit with him for about 15 min or so every time he starts calling! No one there had seen a Bengal so all of the vet students and physicians were coming by to take a look at him. I think he enjoyed the attention. Boris is not sure what to think at this point and is staying completely away from Loki. Loki smells different right now and I do believe that Boris is afraid of him.
