I posted on the Diet and Nutrition forum about my 7 year old kitty, B'loney. She seems to be suffering from some kind of food allergy, but we haven't been able to pinpoint what it is she's allergic to, yet. She has gone through a year of agony, trying out different things. At this point she is on a strict diet of venison (deer meat) and is isolated in a room all by herself.
I love her dearly, but feel I can no longer give her a good home. I have too many other cats to be able to provide her what she needs.
I hate to think of putting her to sleep over this, but I can't stand to see her like this. How would I go about finding a loving home that would would be willing to give her what she needs? She would be best off in a home where she was the only cat, as she can't have access to any other cat food. Of all the cute, healthy kitties available out there, who would adopt a sickly kitty?
