I Have a neighbor who feeds a growing number of feral cats. M y estimate is that there are 6 adult cats and 8 kittens. I have given the neighbors food to help feed the cats but would like to see the cats neutered. I told them that the county shelter would take the kittens. I also looked into a low cost spay and neuter program for the cats. The couple who feed the cats do not express any interest in spaying the cats. They seem to enjoy feeding the "cute kittens" whereas I would like to see the cats neutered. I am tired of seeing dead kittens in the street or cats that are sickly in the winter. Any suggestions? I am willing to pay for some of the neutering costs myself.
