I have been feeding a mommy cat and her 4 kittens for a while. The kittens are 4 months old. One of the kittens, a gray and white female, is very friendly and docile. I can pet her, hold her, pick her up, kiss her, you get the picture. She totally blew my theory of a feral kitten! My thoughts are that she would be a great pet once socialized properly (bring her into a room in the house, let her adjust, introduce her to other members of the family, etc., etc., then have her spayed and adopted). I cannot keep her, I have 3 indoors already, but my husband agreed that I could foster her. I have done this before, with serious interviews before the adoption took place. I would like to know if others have had a similar situation, and what the outcome was. She is so sweet, that I fear now that if she comes this close to me, she might get in the wrong hands somewhere along the line. By the way, they are all scheduled to be [trapped, nuetered and released] TNR'd in December. The other kittens are very standoffish, and although they come around when I call, I cannot get close enough to make friends. What do you think?

thanks,

pati
