If you have only cats, and they don't go outside, you need to know what introduced the fleas into your house. If you bathe and comb the cats, and dogs if you have any, every few days with a shampoo that contains d-limonene, and vacuum well and spread borax on carpets, furniture and floors, you will eventually kill the fleas . Also add brewers yeast along with fresh garlic to the food. This is all very safe and very organic. But a much simpler way is to treat all the dogs and cats once with Frontline. Frontline will kill fleas for up to 3 months, killing the fleas currently on the cats, along with any that hatch out and jump onto the cats. This is much longer than the life cycle of the flea, so it will also get those that are now developing, before they can lay eggs. One treatment should suffice. This is quite safe. Be sure you use Frontline and not some other brand.
