Hello~ I'm getting my first persian in about 1-2weeks. She is absolutely ADORABLE and I've been waiting for her for more than a month. The only thing is that her father is a PKD positive persian and this means that there is 50% chance that she will be PKD positive as well. The breeder is VERY honest and has sent in my kitten's PKD dna test to UC Davis for analysis. The results will be returning by the end of this week. I'm REALLY praying for a negative, but in case she is positive, what should I do? Should I still buy her? Will she require extra care and attention? I need some advice in what to do. I know that I really should not get worked up about this until the results come back, but just in case she is positive for PKD, I want to be prepared with an answer or a reaction. I'd appreciate any support from you~!! Thank you in advance, everyone!!
