Hi,

This sounds like more than just a rash. It is going to take a vet to examine your cat and diagnose what is going on. It is impossible to make a diagnosis otherwise.

I highly recommend that you take your cat to a vet ASAP. A skin scraping should be done to rule out the possibility of mange, his ears need to be checked, and it's likely that some kind of medication will be prescribed.

Your kitty must be very uncomfortable, so please don't put this off.
