As far as raw meat goes, you haven't said what you are feeding now. I assume it is a commercial cat food, either canned or dry. The meat that goes into that food is whatever the manufacturer can get cheaply, which is often something that is labeled as unfit for human consumption. Just remember that we live in an imperfect world where we may not be able to get the ideal meat to feed our cats, whatever is processed or disguised as something else is most likely of much inferior quality.
