Adding to this particular topic ... how safe is grocery store meat for using in a raw diet? I've been thinking of supplementing some of my cats' commercial diets with a raw food diet, and I worry about salmonella and other bacteria in the grocery store meats. Is frozen meat better than never-frozen, or is there a better source than the store?
