I have a cat, 1 1/2 yr old, felv positive male. Months ago due to symptoms, diagnosed with stomatitis. Tried conventional treatments of steriods, antibiotics, dental cleaning over a 3-4 month period, symptoms returned while even on meds.

inflammedgums, ulcers, inflammed lymph nodes, difficulty to eat, pain, change in personality. So yesterday he had all his teeth extracted except his canines.

Now I guess we wait for him to heal. By some info I found, small percentage of cats still need some sort of steriod tx to keep inflamation down .

Any recommendations?
