Dr. Tobin,
I've never had a chance to thank you. Your treatment for idiopathic chylothorax saved our cat's life! Don't know if you remember but about 2 years ago I wrote you about our cat with idiopathic chylothorax and you suggested 2 days of non-fat diet and 2 days of fasting. We had to have her tapped once during the 4-day cycle but at the end of the cycle she was much better. On the advice of our holistic vet in Florida, Dr. Larry Bernstein, we waited a few days and repeated the fasting process. We did this a total of 3 times and she never needed to be tapped again. She has been doing well for 2 years (knock on wood.) What's amazing is that we consulted multiple vets but you were the only one who knew of this approach. Thank you so much - we are forever grateful - and we have and will continue to share this information with others.
