my cat goes outside frequently. one day i noticed an open wound near his right ear. i took him to the vet, and they cleaned it, gave me some antibiotics, and sent us home. over time , it healed up. a couple weeks later, another wound opened near his other ear. i cleaned this one on my own, and put some regular antibiotic ointment on it, and it cleared up. a couple weeks more went by, and one opened up by his nose, right below his eye. this one closed up on it's own. now, he has a really bad one on his tail. i don't know what's happening. the wound isn't discolored, he licks it alot ( i assume in an effort to keep it clean). and he's not acting sick or any different than normal. the first vet bill was close to 300 dollars, and i'm on a tight budget. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
