Posted by: cserna at Thu Jul 12 17:17:28 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cserna ] About 36 hours ago, our cat, Miles, started throwing up about every 3 hrs. or so. At first he was still "himself", but then he became inactive and didn't want to eat and he has not gone to the restroom in at least a day. After a visit to the vet but still no real answers as to what's wrong with him, he's now on antibiotics, but they don't seem to have helped. The vet said he has tapeworms and he's probably had them for some time, but that shouldn't cause him to be in his current state. He has an appt. at a cat only hospital for bloodwork, FIV test, and an ultrasound tomorrow morning, but until then can anyone give me any information on what could be wrong with him? At first I thought he ate a piece of his fabric toy but xrays didn't show that although it could still be possible. If he ate his toy and needs surgery, fine!, but what's killing me is NOT KNOWING what's wrong with him. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
