Createnine is a breakdown product from muscle that is eliminated through the kidneys. It is created at a pretty constant rate, so any rise in its blood concentration is due to its failure to be eliminated by the kidneys; thus it is used as a measure of kidney function. As kidney function improves, blood createnine levels decrease. What you are doing should help that.
