My kitten has a dark, blackish color crusty material developing inside of his nose. What is it? It is only in one of the nostrils at the edge, probably the size of a booger, and is relatively soft. It does not ooze and does not look like discharge. I can pick it of easily and then the nostril looks mostly pink and only slightly dirty, the other nostril is always clean. It generally reappears after a few days if I scratch it off. Sometimes he has eye booger problems aswell, yellowish color and sometimes a bit darker. He had ear mite problems before, but that should be gone now after medication. He doesn't seem to have any breathing problems, and sneezes rarely. Kitten is male, 6 months, indoor only, no other cats, neutered, does not have all vaccines but only 1-2 of them. Thank you
