my 5 year old DSH neutered Tabby boy has had 6 instances of inappetence in just over a year
UC Davis did ultra sound and bloodwork but all was fine. My OWn vet just did more bloodwork (this is a year later) AND took biopies of liver, intestines, pancreas, stomach etc. ALL were normal - with the exception that he has hyperplasia in one lymph node.
I got him home and he won't eat again. NOW they say it is behavioral?!
Could Vet have missed something - maybe she should have done a biopsy on another part of the stomach or another lymph?
This has been going on for over a year and he has lost a couple of ounces but then when he does eat he gains it back.
Vet thought HE had lymphoma yet blood and biopsies are normal so what IS causing this?
Ben is mostly inside or out in my cat fenced in back yard so he has not eaten anything he should not.
