I got in a group of kittens that have had constant URI problems. Theyve been tested neg for FIV/FeLV multiple times. They have been on 3-4 different anitbiotics. Convenia, amoxi, baytril, and something else which I cant recall off hand. I currently have them in isco, in a bare bones room that is kept spotless and it has an air purifier in it.
I now have them just on immune supplements, lysine, vit c, zinc. On antibiotics they would seem to improve, but once they were taken off, they would get worse again. Its been a week of natural supplements, so I hope that they eventually build up a good immunity on their own. These cats are about 7-8 months old now. They have been sick for about 3.5 months.

They have all been vaccinated with the typical fvrcp shots and altered.

These kittens managed to spread it to a couple other young cats here, but all in all, its stayed pretty isolated. One of my adult cats sneezed a couple times on a couple different days, but it stopped right away and the cat never got sick.

Any ideas of what I could be dealing with here? My vet seems to think its useless to do a PCR. But the only solution he gives is to just try a different antibiotic! Enough is enough!
