To avoid this problem, use the internasal vaccine in kittens, and do not revaccinate. Right now, to deal with your cat's problem, do not feed any dry food, but give canned or fresh meat . A good basic diet is chicken, with bone, but right now you should include raw beef kidney, and since your cat also has a heart problem, I suggest some raw beef heart as well on a daily basis. You want to get as much water as possible into your cat, so you could add water to the food, and puree everything. Add increasing amounts of salt to help her retain water. To avoid the effects of poor kidney function, add calcium carbonate to the diet, along with Chitosan and a good probiotic.
