Posted by: bluemeadows at Mon May 11 18:05:06 2009 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by bluemeadows ] I have a ten year old neutered male who has just had a second bout of urinary blockage. He was also diagnosed with arthritis of the lower back. He is now receiving glucosimine daily over his food, metacam 1 drop daily, and adequan by injection twice a week. His food consists of wet feline cd and dry feline cd. He weighs ten pounds. I would like to know if he can receive adequan twice a week for over the original prescription as I noticed a pronounced increase in his pain when I reduced the frequency of the injections.
