First check to see that no other animals are bringing fleas into the house, such as mice or rats. I generally use Frontline plus, one application, with a second up to 3 months later, if needed. I use it only to get rid of fleas, not to prevent fleas. In addition, spread borax lightly on carpets, rugs, and furniture to kill the larvae.This works pretty rapidly.
