If the vet did presurgical bloodwork, found elevated kidney values, never informed you of this and went ahead with the surgery in spite of the risk, this may be a case of malpractice. CRF doesn't get better on its own, only worse. Some things you can do to help are to give raw beef kidney to your cat, Standard Process Renotrophin PMG, Chinese Rehmania 8 formula, nettle seed, CoQ10, NAC, and Cod Liver Oil. It would be helpful to have the cat seen by a holistic veterinarian rather than have a kidney transplant.
