Hi, I have another cat that seems to catch persistent colds or respiratory infections, otherwise he's healthy. 9 years old. Neutered. The respiratory infection is such that I have to give him antibiotics(Amoxicillin) to get over it, then in about a month's time there's another cold, then several months after that another one. For people it seems once they catch a cold they get a sort of immunity but it doesn't seem to be working that way. He's an indoor cat, house is warm, no drafts. Even if it's virus-induced how can I boost his immune system to make him more resistant? There are things like echinicea, etc that will boost the immune system but it's not to be given long-term. He's on a combination of dry/raw food now and if I add anything that's detectable he may not eat it. Thank you for any info as to what I could give.
