I really don't know how to interpret what I'm seeing. Because my cat had so much yellow dicharge from the one nostril and strands of mucus, etc that rattled at the back of his throat, it made breathing difficult. I decided to try something called colloidal flooding where the nasal passage is filled with colloidal silver. Colloidal silver kills bacteria, fungi and viruses so I dropped drops in his nose. The first time I did it his breathing cleared after several hours and no discharge. I repeated the process and yellow creamy discharge is now coming from that nostril again. I repeated the process and squirted it in his nose to flush it out and now it seems to be draining. Alot. I dropped some in the right nostril that had no problem and now yellow creamy discharge is coming from that nostril. I don't know if this is a good thing or not.Is this discharge draining from the sinuses? Or somehow I've made things worse. The right nostril never did have a discharge and now it does. Colloidal is safe. Prior to 1942 it was used as an antibiotic by doctors and even prescribed for internal use. What am I looking at, is it a good thing that is going on or not? I'm giving him echinicea, L-lyseine, and just about everything I can think of to get this problem solved. I've been battling this since last April and so has my cat. Any help you could offer would be much appreciated.
