Posted by: PHDrTobin at Fri Feb 4 17:10:31 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by PHDrTobin ] This protocol still works, but what I have been using lately is d-mannose, 1/8 tsp in the food at each meal to deal with the bacteria, stopping all dry food, and adding salt and water to the cat's food to dilute the urine. The bacteria is gone in 2 days, and the water, and the increase in water consumption through excess salt intake, dissolves the crystals.
