Spaying your cat lowers the risk of mammary tumors. Some cats are sweeter, more friendly, when in heat, but some push this to extremes. Not all pet caretakers can tolerate this after a while. See how you and your cat feel after one heat cycle; you can always get her spayed if the situation becomes intolerable for you. Don't forget that the main reason to spay a cat is to avoid unwanted offspring, so if she is not spayed, be extremely careful to not let her outside, at all!
