I was lucky this year as when I took him to the vet for a booster on his distemper and rabies, which are required by the groomer, I found that his last year's certificate was still good so no booster this year. That's the only drawback on taking him to the groomers, getting the booster. However, there's no way that he can go without his annual lion cut because no matter how much I comb and brush him, he eventually gets mats somewhere on his body before the year is over.
