It's that time of the year again. Another lion cut for Simba. I was lucky this year as when I took him to the vet for a booster on his distemper and rabies, which are required by the groomer, I found that his last year's certificate was still good so no booster this year. That's the only drawback on taking him to the groomers, getting the booster. However, there's no way that he can go without his annual lion cut because no matter how much I comb and brush him, he eventually gets mats somewhere on his body before the year is over.

It was hot the day we took him to the groomers and he came home smelling so sweet. The other cats didn't like his scent however so there was a lot of hissing going on, especially from KatyKatt. Since that day, he's been hiding under the covers on my bed because it's really cooled down in Iowa this past week.

Just thought I'd let you know that Simba is looking good again and all three remaining cats, Samantha, Katrina and KatyKatt are all doing well too. Simba is the same age as Paula...14, Sammi is 13 and Katrina and KatyKatt are 12. Not too much playing going on anymore. They prefer to eat and sleep. They love it that I've retired and can spend more time with them.
