Hello all! Been a long time since I've posted on this forum. I have two Tonk sisters, both 3 years old, from the same litter. Cara is a little smaller than Mia, by about a pound. Mia is assertive and needy, wants lots of attention. Cara hangs back a bit, is nervous & skittish compared to Mia. They have been fighting more and more recently, and have discovered hissing....they chase each other around, until one either catches the other or comes close, then there's some hissing, & the other backs off. Mia seems to bully Cara more, or at least she's more overt about it; she'll be sitting on the bed, see Cara, & jump on her. Cara has been known to hide under or behind things & then come out at Mia, sending her flying. We've thought it was just playing until the hissing started, & Mia in particular seems upset and anxious. We have a pheromone dispenser for them, & it seems to calm them, but of late is doesn't seem to work as well; there's still a quarter bottle & they've been at each other for the past 2 days.

Does anyone else have fighters? Sometimes they are so wonderful to each other, seeking each other out, wrapping themselves around each other. Is this fighting normal? Should I get more pheromones for them, add another dispenser?

I know Carol has both Emily & Eddie; do they ever fight?

Never had 2 cats before; don't know what's normal. Thanks
