Although my cat was diagnosed(reluctantly by the vet) as having asthma, there was no sneezing of coughing. Now there is light sneezing several times a day. I was wondering about the Herpes virus. There's sneezing associated with it but I can't find out if there is also fluid around the lungs too. Is there? If the fluid was analyzed would it show if there was a Herpes virus? Would it show if there was any other virus present? Thanks for info. I can't ask my vet because he insists that the analyis of the fluid would be a waste of time because it would show nothing of any importance.
