The result, after giving antibiotics for the last month, is that the inner eyelids are still thick and swollen but they don't show when her eye is open, nor does it look swollen if her eye is closed. One can only see the swollen inner eyelids(top and bottom) if I open her eye wide to put drops in then they pretty well close over the eye. The other thing is that there is a thick white circular covering over the pupil and most of the iris. There doesn't seem to be any infection, no pus, no discharge. She is able to open her eye completely but is bothered by strong light in that eye. The vet says to keep giving the antibiotic drops but if there isn't any infection I don't see how this can remove the thick white circle. I'd like to know what this is. Cataracts are opaque and this is solid white. I don't know if they can come from a scratch. It doesn't seem to be inside the cornea like an ulcer, it's just sitting on top of the cornea. Any thoughts you may have on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
