Does your Siamese cat exhibit compulsive wool-sucking or pica-like behavior? The Animal Behavior Clinic at Tufts University is currently searching for affected Siamese cats to participate in a study that will further our understanding into the genetic aspect of this behavior. Owners will receive a survey and an at-home DNA sampling kit to obtain saliva for analysis. No veterinary visit is required, all correspondence will occur via mail, e-mail, or telephone. Participation is free and affected cat's owners will receive written treatment information for this compulsive wool-sucking behavior.

Currently, we are only enrolling affected Siamese cats. Please contact Nicole Cottam at (508)-887-4802 or nicole.cottam@tufts.edu.
