I recently moved to the country from the city and brought with me a adult male cat I trapped for TNR almost two years ago. Since being neutered, he came to a feral colony I fed and was very friendly and affectionate towards me. Convinced he was an abandoned cat, I took him with me in the move. (Not to worry, the colony still has other feeders!) I have not been able to integrate him with my other 8 cats because he seems intent on murdering them all. I keep him segregated to the kitchen and basement, while the other 8 have the rest of the house. I bought Feliway three weeks ago to help but so far I am still unable to let this cat near the others. Is segregating only making it worse? He's a sweet and friendly cat to humans, but an attacking sociopath where the other cats are concerned. The other 8 are all happy and get along, but live in fear of this new cat. Does anyone have advice to make this integration a success so that nobody is injured?
