Okay, I have to intervene here. Lucky, it sounds like you need some legal representation.

First of all, they brought that thing into your house, and that makes it yours. If it's yours, you have every right to play with it. If they don't want it to fall down, they will have to tie it up.

Humans have to remember that if they bring something into our house, it is ours and they should be thankful that we so graciously allow them to use it sometimes!
