Ok sometimes the F2's on a project aren't what you were expecting. I gave my project corn pair to a friend of mine to raise and breed since I was overwhelmed. The male was a Lava redcoat poss het snow to a female Coral Glow snow. She was a screamer! So I'm expecting some nice offspring with a redcoat influence. The plan was to create a beautiful coral snow with a redcoat wash on the dorsal. Well this past weekend was the Pomona Reptile Super Show. I was working my friend's booth, Psychotic Exotics, and my friend Clayton had his booth, Mesozoic Reptiles. He told me he got his first clutch from this pairing and I was geeked! He brings the clutch on Sunday and it was anticlimactic. Normals, amels, anerys, and snows. The male proved out. But nothing new. Bummer. I took a pair to raise up. I'm hoping they color up. I took a male normal and a female snow. Now the normal is at least a triple het so maybe the F3's will give me what I was hoping for.
