Hi all!

In order to install the probe from my thermostat into my kingsnake's enclosure, I had to snip a few wires in his wire-screen top (it's one of those wire mesh covers). I just snipped three or four wires to make a small hole in the corner - it's just big enough to allow the probe and its chord to slip through; there's probably 3mm of wiggle room for the chord once everything is in place.

How likely is It that my king would make his way out of that hole? He's a juvenile and at least 10mm in width (that's a really rough estimate, but imagine the width of an average sized pinky finger). Is there a better way to install this in the future (I'll be getting a new enclosure in a few months)? I haven't been able to find cages with premade holes in the screen/lid.
