My red tail boa is almost ready for a larger enclosure than the fourty gallon I currently have her in and I simply wanted some advice from those of you more experienced than me. This is my first snake that I have more than babysat and I want to do the beauty of the animal justice with a large naturalistic vivarium but cannot afford both the tank and decor I would like simultaneously. So first question is regarding constructing my own tank, is it possible to do this for cheaper than buying one? second where is the best place to buy naturalistic decor that would suit a normal type red tail boa? I looked locally and they are just not up to par with what I want it all looks fake even from a distance.
