Posted by: Redfox at Tue Oct 20 17:01:20 2015 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Redfox ] My female veiled chameleon laid 28 eggs on day #30 after being initially mated with our male. I could tell that she retained some eggs and after retrieving the ones she laid, I put the container with sand and pete back into her cage. I read on one of these forums somewhere that they sometimes will lay a second round at the 45 day mark, which is today. She dropped one on the bottom of the cage yesterday, but no sign of her laying any more and I'm guessing she has at least 4 more. She just stays dark colored, moves around ok, but not eating much, she is drinking. Has anyone experienced this before, I'm new at this and not sure if I need to take her to the vet. I appreciate any input more experienced breeders may have. Thanks!! [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
