One thing that most new breeders don't think about is the condition of the female. The female must be in good weight for her hormones to produce follicles. If she is a little on the thin side she may not produce babies, feed her as much as she will eat, if she normally eats one medium rat then feed her two. If you normally eats every 7 days then try feeding her every 4 to 5 days. I can't say enough about how important feeding is during this time of year.
