Yeah, all snakes can have their own little personalities and behaviors. The boids could have possibly had a respiratory as well though, but a qualified reptile vet should have been able to ID an RI very easily. Unfortunately it can be pretty common with warm tropical species when kept too cool. Other types of snakes can also acquire RI as well though if kept in subpar temp conditions, and/or are kept in an unclean environment. Anyway, have fun with your new triangulum acquisition.
