Posted by: alternaguy at Sun Nov 15 21:11:52 2015 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by alternaguy ] I am new to working with a group of terrestrial Tropical turtles I now have. I know they do not hibernate or more correctly brumate. I just brought them inside because it is beginning to turn cold. I do not know if I should let them cool down but not get too cold to reserve calories or just keep them warm and feed them throughout the winter. I do not understand how they will cycle and breed next spring without hibernating like my other turtles. I really want to give them the best of care and I also want to improve my chances for producing offspring next summer. Any help from any of you guys that work with tropicals would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Richard [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
