Hey Kingsnake! This is my first post and I am thrilled to be here with an experienced plethora of keepers!
I am a 16-year-old Herper who is keeping a variety of specimens. Some I bought right here! I have just got the idea of starting to upgrade my snakes and lizards, I am looking to pick myself up an Eastern or Western Diamondback Rattler. I have followed all my local laws and have the permits and work experience with most cobras and mambas, but I want my first to be a Diamond. Would you all help me decide between an Eastern and Western, the proper setups and care? This is an early idea, which is why I want as many keepers experience and ideas as possible. I am planning on getting a hot snake, as the "defanging" or venomoid process can cause infection, and overall is cruel to the reptile
